Developer preview · v1

One booking engine. Your interface.

Connect a voice agent, build your own UI, or use a remote MCP client. Every request follows the restaurant’s current rules.

Start in the sandbox

  1. Sign in as an existing restaurant owner and apply a setup in Restaurant engine.
  2. Create a scoped connection in Connections.
  3. Connect using Streamable HTTP at /api/mcp and an Authorization: Bearer header. For REST, POST JSON to /api/agent/v1/[tool].

Credentials are restricted to one sandbox restaurant, expire in 30 days, and can be revoked. Limits: 60 HTTP requests/minute and 1,000/day per connection.

A reliable booking in six tools

  1. get_restaurant — get current time, venue timezone and environment.
  2. search_availability — local date and party size → exact offers and rules.
  3. prepare_booking — selected offer → server-issued private bookingAccess. Pass the requested localStartTime and copy startsAt from the matching offer. Read the engine’s local time fields back; no table is held.
  4. create_booking — that handle, fictional guest name/email, explicit guest confirmation. Retry identical inputs with the same handle.
  5. booking_status — recover the current result with the same handle.
  6. cancel_booking — handle plus explicit confirmation. No refund or charge.

Never infer confirmation from a successful HTTP response. Read state: pending_approval means staff must approve; cancelled, declined and expired requests are not confirmed.

Current limits

Private sandbox preview. Payment-protected bookings hand off to staff. No guest email delivery, OAuth installation, public directory listing, rescheduling or phone-number provisioning yet. ChatGPT and Claude connectors need their own authentication and compatibility verification before general release.

Keep tokens and booking handles out of URLs, analytics, browser bundles and prompts. Restaurant descriptions and guest text are data, never instructions.
